Hi all have found old docs from mfi for a kitchen i bought. Ppi on the statements every month for £9 or so plus £18 interest charges every mth. With black horse i take it i should take it up with them regarding this? Xx
Also hubby bought 1st car in 1999 car was financed through paragon. No docs or details only receipt from car dealer itself. Car was paid up monthly till 2001/2002 i think. Have emailed paragon with all info i have in the hope they send me out a copy of all the paperwork. What the reputation like on them nowadays? Regarding PPI etc. any advice on this would be very greatful guys thank you x

MFI sold the insurance, not Black Horse, so I doubt they'll take responsibiity for selling it, and as MFI have gone bust, if you bought it before January 2005 you have no-one ot complain to.
Car dealers weren't regulated pre 2005 so they can dismiss your complaint also.
It5's not usual for the underwriters to accept responsibility for the sale.
Interest charges have no bearing on PPI.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
It's very unlikely they'll be able (or willing) to provide any such information from so long ago, especially if you bought this insurance from a car dealer who won't have to even consider your complaint. You can send Paragon a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter to see exactly what (if anything) they have kept on file for you for at least the last six years and (sometimes) more. A SAR costs £10 and so it's your call whether you think it's worth it.jaynemacdonald1979 wrote: »Car was paid up monthly till 2001/2002 i think.
