Aviva Insurance reporting as Loan

hello,
I've just checked my Noddle account and seen that my Aviva home contents insurance is being reported as an unsecured loan.
Is this normal? I don't remember it being mentioned in the small print when I took out the policy.
I guess it will do no harm if I'm making the monthly premium payments as it will all count as green dots on my file.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

When taking out insurance and paying by instalments, for many companies you are strictly entering into a restricted use loan agreement to cover the yearly premium.
Not a clue if Aviva do that, but could well explain it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

My BF has recently taken out car insurance with Aviva and it appeared as a loan too. Not that he's complaining really - after recently completing a DMP he needs to show he can make repayments on time!0
