Moto Cherwell Services

Hi,

I've had two letters from the company running the parking services for Moto at Cherwell Services (M40) for my vehicle being over the 2 hour limit.

I ignored those letters (based on other advice I read on t'internet) and now I have a letter from "Debt Recovery Plus Ltd" saying I should pay them or they're off to court.

Should I continue to ignore this and wait to get the court action?

cheers

G

Yes I gather it was CP Plus originally ? They are rather toothless in this scam. You will get Zenith Collections contacting you soon, they are the same company as DR+ and can be ignored completely. The only time you don't ignore is if you get stamped court papers, it would be a first for these.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Thanks or the swift reply and yes, it was Car Parking Services (or some such - I've thrown them away :) ) - I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Posts everywhere about DRP and Zenith letters, cluttering up this forum and pepipoo to the extent that I for one am bored of typing the same reply. However bear with me because the pepipoo link is useful.

All you had to do was Google them. But do read the pepipoo last link, to just a snapshot of threads all asking the same question (I post as SchoolRunMum on pepipoo and you'll see I gave that poster a load of links in seconds, as the question is asked so often by people who don't know how or don't bother to search a forum). It's only a matter of ignoring junk mail from DRP and 'Zenith' (also the same DRP call centre).

The only time to respond is if you get a Letter Before Action and if Parking Eye decide to try a small claim. Right now DO NOT respond.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
