I normally can't bear the place but they were particularly helpful the other day.
I had been checking their website to see if an item was in stock all week and the day it came back into stock I made the hour long journey to my nearest Ikea to buy it. When I arrived I couldn't find it so I asked a staff member if they could locate it for me. She checked the system and 6 were still in stock but there was some kind of recall on the item which prevented me from buying it. She said it was probably a mistake or out of date as it wouldn't have been showing as available on the website if there was a genuine recall on it but it still couldn't be sold - she suggested I return the next day. I told her I'd travelled an hour to get there and she made a few phonecalls and took my details and said she would try to get CS to send one to me post free. I gave her my details but didn't expect to hear anything.
2 days later I received the promised phonecall from CS and the item was sent by courier to me arriving 3 days later.
