Selling a non-runner

Hi,
My car has lost all power and, as I hate the thing anyway, I've decided not to spend any more money repairing it. I was going to sell/scrap it to a dealer but as the additions, alloys etc are not taken into account I'm now considering ebay.
If I list as a non-runner with cash on collection and send off the docs to DVLA myself, what other likely pitfalls might there be? And if anyone has experience of doing this, is it likely ebay will beat the dealer price?
TY

advertise it properly and you wont have an issue tbh.
say its a non runner and what happened and let it find its price. start off the bidding for what you would get scrap. and yes make sure you send off the documents yourself do not let the buyer do this.Sealed pot challenger # 10
