HELP!!
Not all billing systems are flexible enough for setting a DD on the day the customer wants.
TBH, I don't see why this is such a big deal. Just keep in your current account the amount needed from the start of the month till the 19th.0 -
Quite apt that this credit card makes you want to shout.0

I have just seen the TV advert for this credit card. To be honest I didn't think anyone would be crazy enough to apply in the first place with its APR of 627% !!0

The APR is misleading/skewed due to the fees0 -
never heard of it. just close and use an alternative if you can.
is it a 'credit rebuilding' card:question:0 -

It is apparently. They're doing it quite differently from other, similar cards. The minimum payments situation is interesting.Your minimum monthly payment is designed to enable you to pay off your outstanding account balance quicker than you would with a typical credit card, and will be calculated each month as the total of your monthly fee plus 10% of your account balance. For example:
a) if your balance is £120, your minimum monthly payment will be £42 (£30 monthly fee plus 10% of £120);
b) if your balance is £280, your minimum monthly payment will be £73 (£45 monthly fee plus 10% of £280);
c) if your balance is £82, your minimum monthly payment will be £25 (which is the minimum monthly payment under the card terms and conditions)
If the fees taken don't actually go to bring down your balance, even a £120 balance would take nearly a year to pay off.0 -
Wouldn't touch with a barge pole unfortunately! to me it's a con for the desperate! :eek:0
