Only thing I can find was the Gunter Hotel

And anywher on googling has no mention of a hotel. It is always the 'crossroads' or the 'street'

Locals in Rosedale, Mississippi claim Johnson sold his soul to the Devil at the intersection of highways 1 and 8 in their town, while the 1986 movie Crossroads was filmed in Beulah, Mississippi. Blues historian Steve Cheseborough writes that it may be impossible to tell which crossroads Johnson was talking about, because "Robert Johnson was a rambling guy".

He recorded there but he didn't sell his soul there

On November 23, 1936, Room 414 of the Gunter was the scene of a historic recording session by blues artist Robert Johnson. Talent scout H. C. Speir had arranged the session with Brunswick Records who set up a temporary studio in the hotel where Johnson recorded a number of songs including the blues classic Sweet Home Chicago. In 2009, John Mellencamp came to the Gunter to record for a new album in the same room where Johnson had recorded in 1936.

I just wonder if they have got the question wrong?
There's no mention of Gunter in that video and I've sat through it twice now

Thanks. I couldn't find anything myself. As far as I was aware The Gunter Hotel is where he first recorded (in room 414) but it was at the "Crossroads" of two highways he sold his soul. Never in a hotel...

I also get the Gunter Hotel from Wikipedia but again - it is not 100%.
