I have Sims 2 Deluxe somewhere but I never really got into it, seemed to me a bit slow. Much preferred Simcity but haven't got the newest due to the size being so limited.

Enjoy your game though when you get it :)

I used to play Sims 2 on PC a lot, haven't touched it in a long time though. I had all the expansions and used to add custom content as well, I was obsessed with that game. I had the first Sims game and all expansions in a box set, I used to really enjoy that game. I wish they had kept some of the features in the Sims 2. I did give Sims 3 a try but really didn't like it, I prefer Sims Medieval tbh although again haven't played it in a while.

I played The Sims originally, and loved it. I also have The Sims 2 and all expansion packs, still installed on my PC, as well as The Sims 3 and some expansions.

I still go back and play quite regularly, usually the third game, but I wouldn't call myself a 'fan' any more. Not because I don't love the games - I still do - but because I'm fed up of EA ripping people off with dozens of overpriced expansion packs that do very little, and with the insane prices of their additional DLC.

I don't think I'll be getting The Sims 4 for that reason.

I've spent too many hours on The Sims - Busting Out on my PS2, I have the Sims 3 but I know I'll never get anything done when I start playing it so it's just on a shelf waiting till I finish all the other games I want to finish first.

I used to play the Sim City games a lot.

I'd sit up half the night working on my cities, and then when I went to bed I'd end up dreaming about my cities.

I also played The Sims, and got a few of the expansion packs.

But I probably haven't played for a good ten years or so.

I only work two days a week now, so in theory I could start it up again and have lots of time to play, but I always seem to have too many other things to do nowadays.

I've played sims since the original, I've been wanting to play sims 3 recently but I always get an error when I save so I think I need to get rid of some expansions

I've got some of the console versions, but only really played the first on PS2. Needless to say, my character was not well kept and often told off by his mother.
