60 Minute Money Is this a scam?

Hi there,
I've been a browser of this site for nearly a year now and have found it really helpful.
I recently had a phonecall from the 60 minute money company telling me how I can make money for just one hour a day and earn as much as I want. Ido have to pay for a CD information ROM for £5.95. Now I'm not completely naive and know that has to be catch somewhere, but there must be some genuine companies out there???
So does anyone know about this company? I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question either so sorry if it isn't!!
Any advice would be great!!
Thanks for your time!

As far as I can make out, the business is 'wellness products' (whatever they are) that you sell over the internet. Unless it's just CD information ROMs that you sell.
Do you think you would make a good cyber salesman? Thought not.
To quote one of their ads - do you want to join a 'Real, Honest, Ethical Home Based Business' ? The trouble is that any outfit that feels the need to sell itself in that sort of way probably isn't. If it was, it wouldn't need to say so.

Hi, I looked this site up on google and basically it seems like a scam. See below info:
60 Minute Money is a very dubious online operation. They tend to target people who are already in debt and financial difficulty. The reason is that such people are more susceptible to believing claims of easy riches.
Another warning sign is that the application form you must fill out is very personal and goes into detailed things like what is your net worth and your available assets. Before receiving a single piece of information, you are required to provide all of this information.

Hi!
I thought as much. I don't fancy giving all my info out to some random company!
I popped it into google too and saw the same thing, just wondered if anyone out there had had any dealings. I think I will stay clear! Thanks for the advice..I think I'll stick to my Rpoints for now!!
cheers!0 -
Sorry to disappoint you all but 60 Minute Money IS an ethical organisation. What you read on Google were libellous adverts for scam businesses trying to peddle their worthless reports by attacking successful MLM companies. Have a look at BBBOnLine for proof.0

My understanding is that 60 Minute Money is based on Herbalife products.0

:THi..just adding support for the '60 minute money' business...I have been with them for just under 2 months now distributing Herbalife products and am currently earning a nice side income which will I know will increase down the line. People have noticed that I have lost 2.5 stone in 8 weeks and are asking me how...it's that easy! It's either a business style that you love or hate but in no way is it a pyramid scheme and it is very ethically run.0

Well fancy that! A newbie suddenly appears to extol the virtues of a MLM company.
If it has a beak and goes quack and tastes good with orange sauce it is probably a duck.

How many times do we suddenly see new members arriving supporting whatever the latest scam is. Ain't google a wonderful thing."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -

Yep it quite amazing how new posters suddenly appear on MSE to extol the virtues of DODGY organisations. We are know that they they are trying to obtain converts and also to push up the name on google. Just a warning for anyone who has arrived here via a search engine.......do you really want anything to do with a concern who plugs itself by such unethical methods?
I reckon a few other new posters will now appear with tales of the wonders of this firm, but surprisingly there will be few if any posts from established MSEers. Makes you think does it not.
