Aldi & Parking Eye

Afternoon!
I know there are a fair few threads about Parking Eye & Aldi but just thought I'd share a victory!
:T
The Mother in Law got a ticket before Christmas (I actually think it was even before October)...she went into the car park twice in the day, shopped twice and got a ticket saying she had been there for over 3 hours.
I told her to ignore it, she did.
Didn't hear anything for ages and then gets one of these infamous 'we may take you to court' letters that seem to be raising there ugly heads.
I told her to either ignore it again, or get in touch with Aldi...
She went with the latter, phoned them and they cancelled it straight away...and also asked her why she didn't contact them straight away...
Glad she didn't, a few extra pennies spent by Parking Eye :rotfl:

Good news, well done your MIL.
Others are not seemingly having such a helpful response from Aldi.

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
