Help - shall i formally chalenge this PCN?

I paid for 1/2 hour and parked on the side of the road that is for the use of holders of residents parking permits only as I could not see the sign stating it. There were two 'pay and display' signs on the opposite side of the road clearly visible. The parking sign on my side of the road was near my car but obstructed with flower baskets so I believed that the same restrictions applied on both sides of the road. I only found this signe when I got back to my car, found the fine and went looking for the sign!
My informal appeal against this was rejected. They say that different restrictions often apply on different sides of the road. This I do know but could not see the sign on my side of the road as did not go close enough to try to find it and view it from the different angle. I also have photos if anyone is interested.
Thanks for your help!

Is this a council or a private ticket ?
If it's a council one then you should post the details on https://www.pepipoo.com ( ALWAYS appeal a council ticket ).0 -
Hi,
It's council but I am a bit worried as my fine will be going up from £55 to £110 if I don't succeed. I was already rejected at my first appeal!! What do you thin the chances of success are? THank you0 -
You really need to get over to Pepipoo then.0
