Lieden is the most Beautiful city in Holland, Delft is worth a trip, and I have a soft spot for Enschede which is also close to the German border if you feel a like a change.

I spent a couple of months working in Arnhem - ended up loving the place, worth a visit IMO.
If you like motorsport, the Dutch TT at Assen at the end of June is unmissable, there's so much going on around the town there's no time to take it all in.

Loads of camping at Assen at TT time
We used to camp at the local football club, not sure if they'll let a van on the field though
Just try a web search, there's loads.

    Some campsites here

The third one on the list look OK for families, some of the make-shift sites can be a bit boisterous through the night.
The football club was okay though
