Sale of goods act should cover you for non-wear and tear in the first six months.
I presume 'RETURN TO INVOICE INSURANCE £299.99 inc Tax' is gap insurance. This can be found online for cheaper, I paid less than half this on a brand new car.
How old is the car you are buying and what price? If it's older and not too pricey I wouldn't bother with gap unless you are having long term finance.0 -
Thank you for your reply
The car would be 2011 reg and would cost roughly £5,000 - £6,0000 -
2 years old, unless it has high miles or hasn't been serviced in line with the service book, it should still be under manufacturers warranty.
Depending on the make it could have 1-5 years left on it.
Gap insurance might be worth having if you are buying with finance, will be £100-£150 online, maybe less as you wouldn't need more than a few grand cover.0
