aa loan with mastercare insurance help pls

hi need help please mom and dad took loan with AA in 2004 for 20000 for 84 months. mom 64 and dad 65 both working full time. mum with nhs and dad royal mail. loan paid in 3 years

advance 20000
aa mastercare 6983.20
amount of credit 26983.20
totat to pay 33969.60

applied on phone then sent courior to sighn agrrement.

i believe the policy was miss sold as it was a single premium added to loan agreement. both worked for goverment with benefits etc. do you guys think there is a case. thank you

    The only way to work out if there is a case is to make a complaint to AA.

    Bear in mind that there may be issues with them not being regulated at the time with it being pre-2005.

    Is that the age of your parents now, or when they took the loan out? Most policies cover up to age 65, so if the term was to exceed this and the terms and conditions state age as an exclusion, this could potentially be a mis-sale reason in addition to the single premium.
    Competition wins:
    2010 - approx £450. 2011 - approx £800. 2012 - approx £300. 2013 - nothing so far!

    That was the age of them at the time they took the loan out 64 and 65.

    I thought the same about insurance covers them until the age of 65. The sales person on the phone obviously didn't do their job properly and saw this an opportunity to make some commission from this sale. This was so wrong but they still succeeded.

    I will put in a claim fingers cross!!!!:mad:
