Have you got travel insurance? That's the most important thing.0

The best advice would be not to buy him a bum bag...............sorry but he'd be the laughing stock of zante.
Do the mother talk to him only once, he may listen he may not.
Just sit him down and tell him to be careful, if they are drinking to keep their drinks in their hands at all times, stay together.
only take out what cash they need.
Get a safe as soon as they get to the apt.
Always use sun tan lotion.
don't take valuables, I phones I pads etc down to the beach, then leave un attended
Always switch data roaming off as soon as in a country,
don't get a tattoo late at night, and if you do check the spelling. :rotfl:mistakes can not be corrected.
Get him some condoms, he may not like you doing it, but he may thank you.
And then leave it at that. Don't mention it again, as he will think that you are mithering him.
When I think back to my holidays, omg my mum would have had a hissy fit, if she knew what we got up to.0 -
Those of you saying don't bother with a bumbag, as a 21 year old I can tell you they're currently all the rage with us younger people. I'm currently a student, and on student nights most guys and girls have bum bags, Primark sell some decent ones.
I went on a uni trip to Salou in March and I barely saw a single person of 500 from my uni without one! Nottingham City Centre Primark even sold out of them in the week before we left.
Although I do echo what people say about getting a safe, definitely worth it to store most cash in, then he can just take out what he'll need on that day/night.Started 30/08/2011Biggest Wins: GHD's, 5* Trip to London, VIP Trip to Isle of MTV Festival in Malta.
Thanks so much to all who post0 -
Haven't had to deal with the whole abroad thing yet, but my oldest goes to festivals with an unloaded pre-pay debit card that can be safely left at the bottom of a rucksack/given to a friend etc, because it isn't worth anything unless I get a call to say help is needed and load it up.import this0

Please make sure he has adequate travel insurance as the health card does not cover for anything other than medical care in Zante. God forbid he had an accident and had to be flown home, it would literally cost thousands.0
