You too can be confused by confused.com!
I used their site to find as cheap car quote. The best one came out at £149 through the AA. Wow, I thought, I'll give them a call & buy it.
Upon phoning the AA they looked at their computer and said the best quote they could offer me was for £220!
Confused? You bet I was!
I told them what confused.com had said and the chap at the AA sighed and explained that confused.com do not have up to date or accurate figures for all the insurers they display. If the insurer does not have an agreement with them, they just gather information and make their best guess at what they think they might quote you!!
I am not impressed! In the end I renewed with my current insurer Budget who came out most competitive even after I shopped around!
