I'm on 1024 x 768 and I still have the scroll bar at the bottom. All it does is show a white line down the right hand side if the screen

I like the new look but would like to see the forums not have that right hand scroll thingy.0

I have a tiny scollbar on 1024 - and I had it before the breadcrumbs got bigger

If you're not on it - its probably because of a glitch of the breadcrum being too long if you find a thread with a short title it shouldn't happen. This'll be fixed next week and it won't happen
martin
not sure why people complain about the 'breadcrumb' cos the internet browser window tells you what thread you're on anyway. (very top left hand corner of your browser for those not sure where to look)0 -
Martin!!
There's lots of comments about the lobsided look due to the menu on the right>
If you dont want to move it, then Please can we have the R/hand menu amended so that users can close it down if they want to!
Thanks Chaddy0 -

Agree 100%.
It even looks better than in the previews. I love the new forum colour, nice and sleek.The Name's Bond James Bond0 -

Apart from a couple of other times this morning, it only scrolls to the right during and after editing. This is IE6, by the way
That apart, which as you said is a glitch rather than a design feature, I prefer it like this, and I think 800 wide is perhaps the best view available.
Oddly, when writing posts, like now, the forum occupies the full screen width, with the green area completely off the right side. If the appearance was like this all the time, I'd be happy just to scroll right when I want to check the links in the boxes at the top of it, but I think you want those to show all the time.
And whilst it isn't my favourite colour, I don't see any reason to complain about it, and think it will grow on people. I already like it better than the old beige or whatever name it had0 -
Hi
I have looked at the site using IE, Firefox and Opera and I have found that every main page is ok in all variant internet browsers. However, on the homepage http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/ viewing this using the Opera browser throws an error, maybe a missing </div> in the code possibly0 -

Yeah in Opera 9.21 (latest version) it renders with the bar that should be on the right ("Welcome to the new look site" bit) below the main content.
However, this bar appears in the correct position when browsing the forums.
Different style sheet with mis-matched widths would be my guess.This is not a signature...0 -

The style sheets....
Credit cards page css (as an example)
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/common.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/masthead.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/navbar.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/righthand.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/footer.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/section.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/moneytipbox.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
Home page css
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/common.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/masthead.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/righthand.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/footer.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/index.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/moneytipbox.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>
the problem could be that this css is missing on the homepage... however it does look fine with other browsers...
<link rel="stylesheet" href= "http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/css/section.css" title="default" type="text/css"/>0
