Credit Card with the best reward for having it?

I'm shortly going to be credit card debt free. After this time I'm still going to use a card but sensibly i.e. only manageable amounts that I pay off each month.

After paying transfer fees to the Credit Card companies I'd like a card that rewards me in some way for using it whether with cashback or some other benefit.

Any recommendations for the best rewards out there?

It depends on what you value. Shopping, flights, cash, treats etc.

Also depends on how much you are going to spend, how many transactions you'll be making, and what you will be purchasing.

For example, if you intend to use the card at least 15 times a month, then the Barclaycard may be a good choice. If you spend a lot on fuel, then Santander might be better. etc.

Also, are you willing to pay an annual fee in exchange for higher rate of rewards or access to additional benefits? If these are used then their value can outweigh their costs etc
