Hi, I'm looking for a level term assurance and income protection policy (as per Martin's advice in the Life Assurance section) but can't seem to find it on the search engines (eg Cavendish). Is this the same as Family Income Benefit? The latter just seems to be a monthly payout of a term assurance with critical illness policy.
Thanks,
Bimmerman

family income benefit is life assurance. It is the cheapest form of life assurance as the benefit is paid as an income rather than a lump sum.
Permanent health insurance (PHI) is not very well covered on internet sites as it is low profit, not easily comparable (massive differences in the policies available) and some plans fall under investment classification and some fall under protection classification. Many internet sites only hold protection authorisation.
PHI is one of these areas were you cannot really get good info and quotes online.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
