Feb Stag Do - Canaries

Options
Can anybody help me find a good deal on a Stag Do or advise me on where i need to look/book.

20 chaps, Canary Islands, February 2014.
Near night life, all inclusive and transfers.
Flying from North West airports (manc, lpool, leeds etc.)

Struggling at the moment, don't know here to start.

On the beach seems ok as deposit is low but not sure how I'd book for 20 people.

Please help :)

i have stayed at riu waikiki and the buenaventura hotel playa del ingles all inclusive 5 min walk from the nightlife.
i stayed feb and march, cant say it was bouncing though if you are looking for somewhere busy.
puerto del carmen lanzarote have stayed in march several times we stay at clubhotel paraiso
we booked with first choice/thomson or holiday hypermarket. you will get a group booking price, i always book package holidays but you may get cheaper booking flights hotel seperate
you could always pop into a travel agent and ask their advice. i always book with a travel agent, but price up on the internet first and print it out, TA match the price

    February 2014?
Stag do for 20 in the Canaries?

Unfortunately Tenerife is full that month and would be totally unsuitable anyway

On a serious note, with 20 there's plenty of potential for some to drop out.
After you've paid the deposit, you may have to pay the full amount regardless, so any that drop out will still have to pay or the rest will have to pick up the slack and pay more each.

Work out a savings plan for them all that gets the money in by December.
Then, I'd be tempted to book the accommodation somewhere direct that allows cancellations close to arrival without penalty.
For the flights, there are some strategies for booking a lot of seats and keeping the price as low as poss, I'm sure someone else could help with that.

Just make sure you avoid the school half term in the middle of February, not only do all the prices jump up because the Canaries are the closest warm destinations in February, but you will be surrounded by children, and their parents wherever you go!

    Try Lastcheck.co.uk

Sun 9th Feb - Leeds Bradford to Tenerife - 7nts AI at the Laguna Park 2 is coming in around £400 each. The hotel is not too bad and is more suited to lively groups.

Thurs 6th Feb - Man - Gran Canaria -7nts AI - Corona Roja is also less than £400 each at the minute.

You will pay quite a bit for a week in the canaries at that time of year as you're more likely to get good weather. If you're willing to go somewhere different you will probably get better value for money, although maybe not guaranteed sunshine. A week in Benidorm on Self catering leaving Liverpool on 7th Feb will cost you around £150 each or a weeks AI at the Gala Placidia same dates will be around £250 each. Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Albufeira or Magaluf will all be similar prices.

  • I'd book the holiday with Jet2, as they'll allow a deposit payment of £30 per person, free name changes, free reserved seating etc on large groups.

    lively groups.

where did you get this information from?

1st the laguna park 2 is not a hotel, it's apts, which are situated over the motorway, up a steep hill, and all apts, are up a hill, there are steps running up the middle of the apts, 2nd they are nowhere near the clubbing area of las Americas, or a beach...................too much taxi fare for a week.

The best all in in the vicinity of the clubbing area, within walking distance of the can't take another shot drinker, is either the coloumbus, or the las piramides. (5 mins )

both these do all inc, and would be more than suitable for a group of lads. (see tripadvisor for reviews) the good ones will be from groups of kids, the bad ones, from couples who didn't do their research before they went.

I can recommend s/c but you requested all inc.

cheapest way to do it would be book cheap flights, Ryanair from Liverpool is usually the best, then book accommodation.
But if your going to do it this way then get the cash for the flights upfront, as there is no come back on these.
Acommodation some companies, will allow a book now pay later policy, but can be more expensive than others.
