Default removal

Hi everybody
Whats the chances of getting a default removed from my credit history, its on all three files and was in November from Lloyds bank. Its a long story but due to a house move and postal mix up I never received mail so I never new about my account going over drawn and building up charges as I thought it was in credit (it was but a magazine subscription I forgot about came out sending me over drawn) . I know now I should have chased up my mail more but due to not using the account and thinking it was ok I didn't think I needed to. Big regret as trying for a mortgage.
many thanks steve

I would assume there is little to no chance as its your responsibility to change address and manage account unfortunately0

Zero chance - it's a valid default0

Very unlikely. Best bet would be to write them a nice letter and explain the mix up and ask if they would be good enough to remove the default.
Have you paid it off?
Sounds like its correct on their side which means they have no reason to remove it if they don't want to.
One last thought, was it a DD that took you overdrawn or a card payment? If DD you might suggest they hadn't paid it.:beer:0 -
Thanks for reply peeps. That's what I thought but still might give it a shot. Got nothing to loose.
Many thanks

You're wasting your time."You know when it's cold outside when you go outside and it's cold"0
