Non-Touch e-reader

I'm looking at getting an e-reader for my Dad. I was looking at a Kindle (the basic model), but Mum says that he wouldn't be able to use the on/off switch as it's too small (or at least it is on her 4th Generation Kindle). I don't think it would be a good idea to get a touch screen model for him though as he suffers from bad eczema and applies regular creams to his hands. Can anyone suggest any e-reader with a decent sized (or easy to use) on/off switch that isn't touch.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Unfortunately you are going to struggle to find any ebook readers that don't use touchscreen these days0

You could import a Kindle dx for the large screen but they are expensive.0

but most E readers can just be left to go into stand by .... as they use so little power.
Now if the switching on causes the same problem then I have been of little help !
My nook switch is a raised button and then a swipe across the botom of the screen ..... could this be of interest ?

Why not use a stylus both for switching on and using the touch-screen
They are effective & cheap

If you root the Nook (fairly easy) you can turn off the swipe to unlock, I just press the nook button to wake mine, and big page tun buttons are perfect for when you are holding it. Paper books seem like such an effort now...0 -
For her birthday a couple of years ago I bought my OH one of these

It's only got a 5" screen (she wanted to fit it in her handbag :undecided ) and she wanted to avoid touchscreen at the time. I'm not sure if they do a similar model with a larger screen but the text was clear enough and it's got all the usual options for zoom or reading portions of a page at a time.0 -
