New windows - Is this a good quote?

Hi,
Wonder if anyone can offer me any advice on a quote for new windows that I have received for my house.
My house is 13 years and they still have the same windows and doors when first built. In the winter I find the windows drafty and also I have an area downstairs at my front door and downstairs toilet (which is at the front of the house, separated by an interior door) gets very cold.
I had made the decision to get new windows throughout and a company called penicuik came out to give me a quote. Ive done my homework on them and the windows are top of the range "A" rated windows.
Im getting 7 windows replaced, Living Room, Cloak Room, Kitchen window, Patio door, Bathroom window, Master bedroom window, Spare room window, smaller room window & front door.
I have been quoted £7k. Having no experience of replacing windows before or even being quoted is this a reasonable quote?
Ive got 6 days to change my mind....
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. you dont give any sizes for your windows so I wont give you the sizes on mine but last year we had
BAY WINDOW 3 Windows
upstairs bedroom 2 windows
upstairs bedroom 1 window
bathroom window
utility window
Patio door...and opening created
Composite front door
facias and gutterings front and back of house
our total was £6k....
I would suggest at least one more quote.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
Personally I would have alarm bells ringing at the 6 days to decide bit. Not quite so bad as the old must sign today tactic, but still being pressurised to a decision. Take your time and get more quotes!0

Seems a bit pricey but that's how they operate.
Haggle him down and see what he comes up with.
It's hard to comment without knowing dimensions, but I had a similar job and my windows were on the larger side, so if I was you I would be looking at £6k inclusive of VAT.0 -
