Missed Concert as TicketMaster didn't send tickets on time ! Refusing refund.

I am emailing about a problem I have had with buying concert tickets via TicketMaster, and due to their incompetence I was unable to attend the concert I purchased the tickets for.

I purchased 2 tickets in Dec 2012 for Robbie Williams at Manchester via TicketMaster and only one arrived. The concert was last night, 19th June and still no ticket arrived. I cannot get through on the telephone and I have emailed them numerous times now with no response or an automated reply saying please contact us if you have not received your tickets !! I managed to speak to someone eventually on the evening of Tuesday 18th, who informed me one ticket had been sent to the wrong address and said that was my error ! This is strange as the other ticket arrived fine at the correct address, and my credit card payment would not have gone through with the wrong address as it doesn't allow this.

The agent I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and said sorry but nothing I can do, and she refused to put me through to a Manager, and I refused to hang up until I spoke to one, she continued to refuse and said there was none available. As the line was due to close at 8pm she then promised a manager would call me back the next morning, however I did not receive the call.

The concert is 160 miles away from my home and I tried so many times to ring again to no avail. I then received an email from TicketMaster informing me that the ticket would be available at the door of the arena immediately prior to the concert, but I did not receive this email until 6.15pm on the evening of the concert, which was too late as I live in Newcastle upon Tyne and the concert was in Manchester. When the tickets were booked we had arranged to go to Manchester the Sunday prior to the concert and stay with friends, however this had to be cancelled due to only one ticket arriving.

I am appalled at the disgraceful customer service, and I have tried again all evening to get through to TicketMaster again as I would like a refund for these two tickets that were unable to get used, however I am not able to contact TicketMaster to resolve this as their telephone lines are impossible to get through on. I am so upset that I was unable to go as this had been planned for 6 months, and feel like TicketMaster are just not interested and have absolutely no customer service at all.

I also wonder how many more people have had this problem, and people have missed out on concerts and if there is anything at all I can do to at least get a refund for the tickets.

    When did the one ticket arrive & where they bought seperately ? When was the email sent (time) you could take legal advice but it would be difficult to claim for your arrived ticket if you booked them apart . Good luck & yes a disgrace
