vw sharan 110bhp td GL auto 7 seat group11 value £3500
GOOD POINTS
garaged
alarm
9 years ncb
2 drivers no claims/convictions/non smokers/teetotal
over 10years driving licence held, both over 35 years age, manual labour
only 5000miles pa


BAD POINTS
high risk area

i ve tried elephant and insuresupermarket and the best quote
fully comp with £200 excess was £446 -is this a good quote or not? personally i think it should be easily around £350
what do others think?

Why dont you put the quote through https://www.confused.com as they do comparisons too.

Try Norwich Union as they are very competitive nowadays and offer excellent service when claming. (they paid out on my car when it was written off in under a week).

as above to points - read thru martins car insurance article.

then check out different search bots including confused.com

then check the top 2 or 3 of each list, just done that with wifes renewal and it came back less than current year - so bye bye directline...... my insurance is due up in the next 2 weeks - so will repeat the process

thanks, but i really did'nt want any referrals to any more "cheapest car insurance in world websites" i am already aware of them (should have made it clear myself) just wanted to know if quote was good (i have provided more than enough info ) alas it is highly unlikely i will ever know
btw i think quote is not competitive at all ,tried others before and have been v disappointed but will give them a try i suppose -but not erxpecting much

Cheapest for me was https://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk but it all depends on where you live and all those other types of things. I also recommend all the bots like confused which robnye mentions. All you can do is get quotes quotes and even more quotes.
