Egg Balance Transfers

Be Warned - or check what you've been paying. They have had a sneeky clause in their T&C that basically means when you transfer a ballance on their 0% finance offers, they charge you a handling fee... All very well, but they do not count this as part of the 0% finance and so you will/have been charged interest on this fee if you are automatically paying the minimum amount. I logged into to find i'd been paying interest for 5 months on my ballance transfers in my "aniversary" month but on ringing to complain found that they just re-funded the money as everyone had been complaining. On asking whether they would be informing other customers they said "we are not abliged to inform other customer that we have changed the T&C and will no longer be charging interest on the handling fee". Therefore if you ring to complain you will get your interest re-funded.

Hope that helps and makes you all richer.:T

Cheers
