Travel Insurance for Nepal

Hi All,

I am going hiking in the Himalayas in September and would like an insurance that would cover me for this.

Can anyone recommend a good insurance?

Thanks

Any World (inc or exc USA) would cover you.

Rest is down to your medical conditions and levels of cover desired

Make sure the policy covers trekking over 6000m.

Make sure your policy specifically covers helicopter evacuation and mountain rescue, it's not an expensive country but if you get in a bad way you will need to spend real money still. Also in advance take note of which hospital you want to go to if there's a problem - there is a real difference, you're lucky enough not to have to rely on the first one someone thinks of.
