8 new windows and some building work

Sorry to start another double glazing thread, but having some extra (minor) building work done, plus so far quotes have been quite different, so wanted to get some advice please.
Both are mid-sized local companies.
Window sizes approx.
5 x 1200x1800mm (2 side openings, fixed middle third)
2 x 1200x1200mm (1 side opening, fixed other half)
1 x 1200x700mm (1 side opening, fixed other half)
Quotes for:
A-rated Planiterm
Astragal bars
Dummy sashes
Plus building work:
Brick/block up 4 brick courses over 1200mm (we're making 1 window smaller so it's higher off the ground to match the rest of the house)
Insulate cavity
Plaster inside wall
New internal window board
(Side note: would a new timber board be best or a polyboard? Different companies made different suggestions, so i'm unsure - exisiting are all timber so would prefer a match, but then also like the idea of the polyboard as wouldn't have to paint it)
Quote 1:
Veka profiles
Network Veka 10 year insurance backed guarantee
Suggested timber board
£4620 (haven't asked for a breakdown yet, but can do)
Quote 2:
Rehau profiles
Consumer protection agency 10 year guarantee
Suggested polyboard
£6985 (including £300 for building work)
This price would be approx. £200 cheaper if done without dummy sashes and approx. £1500 cheaper to use georgian bars within the glass instead of astragal bars.
Quote 3 I'm still waiting to hear from via post (quote 1 came by email and quote 2 was left with us during the visit)
Does quote 1 sound ok? Quote 2 seems a bit expensive to me - I'd read Rehau are more expensive then Veka, but I wasn't expecting it to be by that much! Quote 3 is also for Veka so will be interesting to see what that is. Perhaps I need to get another Rehau quote? But if they are consistantly much higher, then I'll probably go with Veka anyway - unless Rehau is considered significantly better and worth the extra cost?
Are there any other options I should be asking about?
Quote 1 could do Profile 22 profiles instead for same price (just then covered by GGFi instead of Newtowork Veka obviously), would there be any benefit or detriment in that option?
Thanks

I've had the third quote through:
Quote 3:
Veka profiles
No dummy sashes and Georgian bars not astragal as above (companies suggestion, but I can ask them to change/add)
Window board material not mentioned, but new one will be used
£4468
So I would guess when changing to astragal bars and dummy sashes, quote 3 will be somewhere between quotes 1 and 2.
Do any of these quotes sound fair please?0 -
Can anyone advise please?0

Have I done something wrong?!0

I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

Thanks
My windows on there come out at about £4000-4200 without any bars, making both quotes 1 and 3 seem very reasonable, if not underpriced!0 -
Rehau and veka are both decent profiles and dummy sash and astral bars do make the job better and can tell youve reserched what you want . Your too far away to suggest any one but without the bars and brickwork no more than 3k . (about 350 per window) hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
