how long should it take to get a response to a complaint with DFS take?

ive sent a complaint to DFS about the horrendous sofa i have, this was sent on 20th may and other than the acknowledgement response, ive heard nothing. when should i start chasing?

    Threaten to get the finance company involved. If you paid that way. That speeds them up.

    as i say, already contacted, and still awaiting a response.


    the finance has already been paid on the sofa, so i assume they wouldnt be interested anymore :(

    Not an assumption I would make.
    Hold them equally responsible and wait for their reaction.

    Since you say the finance has been repaid can we assume the sofa is well over 6 months old? In which case if your complaint is with regards to a fault, what proof have you submitted to them?
    What exactly is the problem?
  • yes the sofa is over 6 months old. there have been issues with the item since the first month after delivery though and this is an ongoing issue.
