Barclaycard SAR response

Has anybody else had recent difficulties getting full information in a SAR from Barclaycard?
I held cards in the late 90s, and also hold one now. With my initial SAR response came a series of printouts of data on both periods. However, I'd also asked for a transaction list on all accounts, which has failed to arrive.
Before it's advised that they no longer have the data, they've not supplied anything else regarding the account I currently have with them - no transactions, contact logs, notes etc. This account was opened 5 1/2 years ago, well within the six years that would normally be used to avoid sending data.
I've written back to them advising that the SAR is incomplete and what was missing (the 40 days were also up). I then got a tickbox response advising that a SAR had already been supplied in the last 6 months (it hadn't). Another response sent, this just resulted in the same data as the first bundle, missing anything meaningful on the current card account. I've followed this up, and yesterday got another tickbox letter advising that they've already supplied SAR data in the last 6 months. :wall:
Their responses indicate that none of my letters have been read properly. I'd like to make sure I've completely covered all avenues before a complaint to the ICO.
Does anybody have a contact number for the SAR department or know of anybody who would actually read a letter properly within Barclaycard?

dazza12, your better e-mailing the CEO of Barclays ( yes they are still the same Barclaycard ) you get a immediate response with no messing around. I did and they e-mailed me and rang me back the same day. You did everything you could, these customer service people are useless and take too long and go round in circles.0

Barclaycard keep a rolling 6 years of statements. They are able and meant to provide transactions. However, the layout will not usually be the same as the statements and may be lacking the level of detail a consumer statement would have.
Your current one should be no problem as its inside 6 years. Your older ones would likely be a problem as its over 6 years.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thats the thing - they provided very little detail on my current card account. Markers were supplied, but no transactions at all. No record of calls made or notes on the account.
Regarding the older accounts, I'm aware of a determination made by the ICO that Barclaycard's older archive systems were in a suitable for searching under a SAR (i.e. a 'relevant filing system'). I'm in possession of a PDF copy of letters sent to Barclaycard from the ICO advising that the ICO considers both their microfiche and older paper filing system to be readily accessible.Competition wins:

If they routinely destroy statements etc after 6 years, your stuff woulnd't be there anyway no matter how old the filing system.
Anyway, you may as well complain tot he ICO that they haven't supplied your statements from the last 6 years and see what happens.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
