well, we've bitten the bullet, part ex hubbys car and bought a bongo, its unconverted as have all the camping gear so seemed sense to utilise that and have a diesel 7 seater, so can people tell thier tales and fave memories,

so far we have camped in brecon and apart from a very uncomfortable nights sleep as the airbed was too high and it went down in the night it went well! (since ordered a self inflating one and am trying a differnt way of doing the seats.

were have you been where do you recomend? ta x

What is a bongo? sounds a bit like a sleeper van from what you say.

Yes it's a van that has roof that raises to sleep 2 and the seats in back collapse to sleep 2 and you can get them converted to have kitchens in,

  • My mum has just recently purchased a Bongo but the roof doesn't come up. I have 3 kids and our plan is to go away in in and attach an awning - we have purchased one and were planning on going away this weekend, does anyone have any advice for us? x

It is about a man and his dog. When his wife died, he sold the house and bought a camper van. The man and dog are traveling up and down England in the van, chatting to various people as he goes....
