Kerri, the man who takes the circuits, had us running around the church car park like donkies and trust me, I was running like a very old donkey:o. I will be going again though:D
I hope everyone is well. My day was annoying, so I'm going to seek solace with a glass of Red Juice:)

I'm sure you make a fabulous donkey Red :rotfl: (in fact I think Hubert might have been giving you the eye at the last NSD bash )

I now have a swollen calf thanks to some bite I picked up yesterday in the field, never had anything like it before, felt something akin to a needle !!!!!, then last night my leg was itching and bled when I scratched it but nothing there to see, this morning, puffy calf and roasting hot rash :eek:

Oh, haven't you met Boris? He is Igor's cousin, who will be caretaker at Ennessdee Towers whilst Igor is away. He likes classical music, knitting, gardening and ...wait for it....cooking.......although he does not have access to Igor's library of cookery books, he still has his speciality, which can be summed up in one word. Soup. Oh, yes, what Boris can't do with half a turnip and an OXO cube is nobody's business.
See you in September! (I think it's going to be a long month......)

I'm not sure that's a bad thing him not having Igor's cook book :rotfl::rotfl: Enjoy Aug Nargle, we'll miss you xx

Well boot camp cancelled today due to monsoon conditions, but NSD #17 floated past and added to the pot. HOW is it nearly Aug already

Just to add to the update pls

NSD 23 TARGET achieved, possibility of another one tomorrow, but I'm weakening and still have this months emergency tenner in tact

    Kerri,

I am going to take that as a compliment despite the mispent humour! The thing that bit you, was probably a very large fly type insect called a cleg! I recommend having a bath to draw out the infection and using antiseptic cream! They tend to gather around deep grass, water and farm areas and can be particularly painful! Hopefully it is better soon!
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Hi Kerri, I have to agree with Red - it sounds like you have been bitten by a cleg!! (I think they are also called horseflies???) They have a truly nasty bite and it takes several hours for your body to react. I have a friend who actually had to go to NHS24 at A&E last weekend after being bitten by one. She's on a course of anti-biotics now. If you start to feel unwell at all phone your GP. Sorry to be such a happy chappy :(

Rain! Rain! - Lots of blinking rain. Our town was on the news yesterday because the flooding. The sun was gorgeous but do we have to suffer so badly when it ends???
