I'm looking for a site that would enable me to put in dimensions of my kitchen then design a new kitchen much the same as places like MFI or big retailers like that, but without the sales patter !! then we could go in and buy to size, would appreciate any help with this. Thanking you all in advance.

Try http://config.kutchenhaus.de/nobilia/start.jsp as an alternative to the Ikea designer. I think it is easier & is more realistic. They have a big shop near the Trafford Centre in MCR

I used KitchenDraw for my kitchen.
Awsome piece of software. My kitchen looks EXACTLY like my realistic perspective the software generated.
You can download the 30 hour FREE trial from here : http://www.kitchendraw.com/
It's about a 10mb download so you may need a broadband connection.0 -
the ikea one is quite useful... check that ikea units are standard size though as if you end up buying your kitchen elsewhere it could all go very wrong.0
