Yes I trust the vet I think. I don't know them to be honest and get a different one each time we go, which is only once a year anyway. As long as they know what they're doing it's fine.

My old dog (14) is much the same as yours. He actually pulls to get into the vets then he sits on my lap shaking like a jelly in reception. He's fine when we actually get to see the vet which has been an awful lot this week. I think it's a case of white coat syndrome with him.
