i live in a ground floor flat thats has a garden. i went into the garden today and noticed that the woman upstairs has some how got paint all over my garden (i assume she thrown it out the window). i think it is gloss paint and has dried.
as it a rent flat i dont want to lose my deposit when i leave so i need to clean this mess up.
i know things like the grass will be clean when i mow it and i cant clean my veg patch (shame as have some lovely lettuces and herbs growing that now are covered in paint) but need advice on how to clean paint off the following:
window both the glass and the frame
plastic garden storage box
patio
drain pipe
wooden fence (not paint or stained)

I would report it to your Landlord immediately stating that it is NOT of your doing and make him aware it was your (His) neighbour. Get him round to have a look, also you should take some pictures for reference... then let him deal with it if he/she wants... You can't loose your deposit for something that was clearly done by this neighbour. Why should you be left to deal with it??0

I would speak to your landlord to ensure you are not blamed for the damage and to advise them about your neighbors behavior. Depending on your neighbor I would speak to them about this. It may have been done thoughtlessly or it may be resentful.0

Speak to your all asap. You can get then paint off most of things you've listed with a bit of elbow grease and some white spirit but you'll never get it off the fence unless your willing tho spend hours sanding it back.0

Who would chuck chuck paint out of a window??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
