Neat idea - cat collar ID

My cousin Verity, has multiple cats. Living in the countryside sometimes they come home without their collar. She always uses a safety collar for quick release., in order to be safe. However upon recently visiting I noticed that one had a rubber flea collar on, and she had neatly and clearly in capitals, biro-ed its name address and phone number on it!
She got the idea from some collars she'd had, which were webbing and in flourescent lettering stamped on said 'i am microchipped'.
The rubber flea collars are £1 from the poundshop in blue or red, biro shows up better on red.
Quite a good idea, cheap effective, and even could be used as a secondary collar, as well as protecting from fleas for a few weeks.
My mum said of her 'that Verity, she'd skin a fa*t for tuppence!:rotfl:
However I like her idea, its clever.:T

A good idea in principle BUT are these of the quick release variety? Also I seem to remember some cats can be allergic to these and they also interfere with other flea treatments.
Would be delighted to be proved wrong though!Back on the trains again!0
