Student Finance and work

My daughter (21 years old) has taken a year off studying to work full time to get some good work experience in retail and some financial independence too (on a minimum wage, though). She's been working full-time for over a year and she will be working part-time ones University starts.
The Student Finance form asks if she works. How much of her income will be taken into account? Will she still qualify for funding or will need to quit her job?
