Thanks for these Saveapenny I will need to get the brochures out and see what there like. Not sure yet but my parents may be coming so this limits us to where we can go - dad is in a wheelchair and gets severly sea sick just by looking at the ocean so the transfer could be fun.
Budgetflyer I went to Meeru for my honeymoon and it was really great, although by looking at the brochures it may have changed a bit, but for the better.0 -
Thanks GRIGGSY. I really fancy the Jacuzzi Land villas. Its coming in around £2.2K (for 2) less £60 Quidco cashback, from Glasgow (Emirates or BMI, both 1 stop ) around 24/3 for 1 week. If I can lose £200, Im booking.
Id be happy to First Choice it (direct) from Manchester if we could squeeze £3 or £400 off it.
Is it worth upgrading to AI (from FB) ?0 -
when we went we had a villa on the beach which was really nice but every morning we were woken up early by a cockerel - had lots of fun with it hiding from us in the trees as we searched with a cup of water! No one seemed to have the same problem staying any where else on the island! The Jacuzzi villas looked really nice so if you can I would go with the jacuzzi. In regards to going all inclusive I dont know what you get with full board but it can get quite expensive out there as you cant exactly get your drinks from anywhere else but the bars on the island so they have a bit of a monopoly there. I think one night we spent around $200 between 4 people and we were not drunk, saying that if we didn't like a drink we just got another.
I would suggest taking snorkels and fins with you if you have any as we didn't do any research before going so ended up spending a fortune on them out there.
Hope this helps.
