IPAD2 and sound

About November 2011 I bought a IPAD 2 as a Xmas present for the wife.
Ts been a good bit of kit , but just the last 4 weeks the sound has been faulty and very intermittent.

Took it to a apple shop who confirm a charge of nearly 200 pounds to investigate the fault and fix

Now I'm thinking doi have any claim against Argos for redress of to fix it themselves.

I mean I paid a good 350 pounds for the device and its failing less than 18 months later ??

Your rights are with Argos, however you will need to prove the fault is inherent at time of purchase. To do this you will need an independent engineer in this field who can state it was a manufacturing default that has just came to light, not easy to find someone who can do that.

First port of call is to Argos and see what they say.
