Squeaky stairs - Anything you can do

Just about to take the stair carpet up for replacement, but we have some squeaky stairs. Anyone know if there is anything we can do to stop this while the carpet is up? Thank you.

Do you have access to the underside of the stairs?
Or is it covered with plaster board?0 -
