Your having a laugh .. 20K for a new kitchen and " approx " 10 k for a new bathroom ?
Really? I paid exactly £10k for the new bathroom in my present house about 6 years ago.
Of course you don't have to pay that;). I paid £1k about 18 months earlier to put a new bathroom in the house I was selling.:DYou can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0 -
When we sold our bungalow it quite clearly stated `needs modernisation` as the bathroom and kithcen are functionale but will need upgrading/replacing and as such bungalow was priced accordingly, our buyers seem good so far but any cheeky demands for money off close to exchange and she`s going straight back on the market!Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

I'd pay more for a house with a brand new kitchen or bathroom, so it follows i'd offer less for one where they are old/decrepit ...
I'd certainly try it.
