Hi Boys and Girls,
I have been thinking of buying a car but since been quoted £8500 loan with total repayment over 5 year's of £11,686, i am keen on leasing, i know there are other threads explaining leasing, but i applied for loan yesterday which has 28 dyas cancel period(obviously im not going to take loan at that rate) but with leasing there is all this talk of finace company, does this mean im getting a loan, and the prices quoted on the leasing websites is this the price you get or do they use credit scoring to set a price for you, can someone please help, also the fact i have applied for loan and now enquiring about lease will this affect credit rating? should i wait 28 days for the loan to automatically cancel, before applying for lease? Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Paddyboy

The price you see should be the price you pay - as the amount of finance is secured on the car then the risk is lower for the finance house.
Ultimatly leasing is car finance with bells on!
Dont forget when looking at lease prices that some are ex VAT which can make them look more affordable than they really are. Also dont overlook manufacturers special offers like 0% etc0
