Hi Where I live, if you're single and under 35, you are only entitled to the shared accommadation rate (unless you get DLA), is this the same all over the country, or does it differ depending on the council? The Eastbourne website says "single people under 25 get the shared accommadation rate" - so this means over 25's…

It applies to MOST people, but there are certain exceptions.

Unless you are in shared accommodation, in which case the shared room rate still applies, regardless of age.
