You always need to generate a new pin code to add anew payee that is why it makes no sense to me. Yes, I can also see that from the bank´s side too.

Is that possible? They use my IP? Something would have happened in the session, you are right, but I do not recall anything different on that evening. That said, as I mentioned, the store used as reference said that it had come from a research facility..

I do not quite know what that means but I would appreciate any help on this matter. You have brought up really good questions that I need to prove and I will. regarding the Research Facility, please note that that was the store that helped me the most that told me that. He could not give me more information as it had to be HSBC.

    Many thanks

If it is a research facility then it cannot be my home. That is what I meant.

I did ask HSBC all these questions, maybe not in so much detail but I will do so on Friday. My partner uses the debit card and I would use the online banking. This was a joint account that had a missing form, if you read the first post, you will understand. I am absolutely sure nobody else had access to any of the codes. You need the keypad and several other codes to access HSBC online.

I do apologise as it is the first time on this forum and I find it quite confusing to keep up. I do also see it from another point of view as HSBC seems so secure but apparently is not. They did not want to even give us details of the transactions or anything

Why has this thread got a poll attached?

Very entertaining OP, but I'm afraid I don't believe anything you have said has any truth....

I did that by accident. I'm not sure how to remove it.

Everything I have said is true. I did not lie about anything. I just need advice to prove it and I thought it would have been by getting an ip address for whoever did this. The only thing I know for sure is its a research facility.

Hsbc won't give us any more info. Everything I know I went out and looked for: the back the money was transferred to, the reference on the transaction

So far the back has done nothing to help which is fine. I just need to get our money back that was stolen

If you can post a scanned or photographed copy of the letter from the supermarket (obviously with all personal details blocked out), that shows that their 'investigation' has determined that inbank is a research facility, then I will happily give you my advice on this.

Without a copy of that letter, I'm sorry, but you're on your own.

Here is an off the wall, crazy suggestion here, but given that this is information HSBC has supplied, why not ask HSBC what INBANK means?

I don't have a scanner. I can forward it to you by email blocking all important info of course. Please note it says inbank. The supermarket investigation told me on the phone that it was a research facility.
