    Hi Col.Mastard,

We used Pinewood based in hayes. Paid about £2400 for a double width drive about 3 years ago. We were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship. My husband is in the construction industry and was happy it was done correctly, our drive did not sink like others we have seen. We have moved now and don't need to do the drive but if we did we would not hesitate to use them again. Infact, my dad will need one soon so i hope they go as far as acton.

Pinewood is a good bunch, they are well sought after, and I know sometimes you have to wait a long time for them, I didnt go with them as I didnt want to wait that long, but went with someone else from hillingdon who I mentioned on another thread, I still had to wait, but not as long as I would have pinewood, but I have only heard good things about them, but they are not cheap.

Col. I was working on around £60 Sq M so that's roughly around your price.

Our work started today, but we ended up paying a little more for one which is both Bretts and Marshall's certified (the 2 main manafacturers of stone)

Places on these lists can be a little more expensive, but the one we used was only a hundred over the average price and comes with a 10 year underwritten guarantee.

We found 1 place over a grand cheaper, but would kind of like it to be done right...
