Well, it's called Baixa (= downtown).
And don't worry, Rua Augusta is a big pedestrian street, well lit, I'm sure you won't have any problemsBy the end of next year we hope to have opened a bar/club there to suit locals,expats and tourists...live music at weekends, retro style interior so we will also be looking at all the areas of 'night life' thinking with this in mind.
It may not work as we have to look at rent prices & it's hard to find this info on the net.
Where most all of the bars and clubs are:
- Bairro Alto
- 24 de Julho (Avenida)
- Docas
- Doca do Sapato
Maybe you can then contact a local estate agent for that sort of commercial letting?Being brave is going after your dreams head on0
