    In NO way can "would" be taken as PP has been granted.
    What you are implying would be "HAS" been granted.

    Sadly these people that have been sucked into these schemes have not done any research into the investment they have bought into....
    To me that is a basic failure on their part.

    I completely agree with the preceding post by Dalesrider. It is the purchaser's responsibility to investigate exactly what they are getting for their money and demand that any promises or inferences made by a salesman are in writing on the final contract. Even then I would still have it checked by a solicitor to make sure there are no sneaky get-out clauses.

    After all, for example, if you were purchasing a car and the salesman told you he would throw in free servicing for as long as you owned the vehicle, would you just take his word for it, or would you expect to see it stated clearly on your receipt/documentation etc?
