A weeny spend day today.
£4.80 to return a phone to Vodafone. Bought a new one for DD1 for £27. Was listed on their site as having a camera etc. When it arrived, it very clearly does not! So back it goes. Bought solely because we now use their Vodafone family - we pay £7 per month and have 6 people that can speak as often as they like (up to 60 mins per time) as long as they are all on Vodafone. Everyone else was except DD1, hence the new phone (Old phone is locked to another network and I cannot unlock it!). To us, its worth £7pm for the girls to be able to contact us or grandparents whenever they like, even if they do not have credit.
55p Can of diet coke
45p Mars bar

Charlotte 664 - what phone is it that cannot be unlocked? My old 6680 was a 'Smartphone' and I was told numerous places that I could not get it unlocked. I simply called Vodafone (I was swapping to O2) and they gave me the code for it. It just couldn't be unlocked 'illegally'.

Its a Motorola V235 on virgin - not the worlds best! But it asks for a "Subsidy Code" and therefore will have to take it to the market to get someone unlock it there. Will cost about £20, so I thought for £27 she could have had a new one. The next cheapest phone on the vodafone site was £60, so I'll pay the chap in the market to unlock it methinks!0 -
Could you not phone Virgin? Vodafone gave me the code for free. :T0
