help needed just seperated where to start

unfortunately the only family i have is my mum who lives 130 miles away and whom has not spoken to me since we borrowed some money a few years back and couldnt pay at back. my husband had a big row with her and have not seen or heard since.
i am ok and a pretty strong person so will get through this its just working out where to start

Are the reasons you are splitting all financial? Have you tried any type of counselling, professional all advice?

If / When you divorce though, your assets and debts will be split, as part of the judgement of divorce (which is what i meant when i said joint debts).

as for the crisis loan, I was offered that at the jobcentre not 2 months ago. So my mistake i guess

Why not call your mum, apologise for borrowing money and not paying it back, and take it from there?
