Am I correct in assuming that if the work that was carried out is inline with the Planning Application that all should be fine? Barring any foundation or structural issues naturally?0

A reasonable assumption. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Well I suppose thats the only potential good news of the day :rotfl:
In regards to the Certificate of Completion; it is my understanding that there are Approved Inspectors in the private sector for this sort of thing. Would it be worthwhile investigating the possibility of employing one of these to speed matters up?
Just keen to be seen as being proactive and trying to get everything sorted thats all. Apologies for all the questions.0 -
At the risk of spamming; I hope this does not come across that way. I have a question in regards to Building Control & Soakaways.
We have Building Control coming round towards the end of the week to do a final inspection.
As far as we can find out there is only one thing that is required for us to do and that is a rear soakaway. We currently have a water butt there which takes the rain water away, and use to water the garden.
What are the chances of us getting the Completion Certificate with this? Or do we require an all singing and dancing soakaway? Just keen to find out so that if need be we can get someone in to do the work before Building Control come round.
All help much appreciated.0
